FaMix feed mills are a cost-effective way for farms to produce their own compound feed for pigs, poultry, cattle and other livestock. FaMix feed mills are fully automated and feature a simple modular construction. Our compound feed mills are delivered to the farm preinstalled in containers, making commissioning fast and safe. No separate building is required. FaMix feed mills are also available with an optional Pelletizing line, which can also be retrofitted.

Module feed mills are larger and designed for use in the feed industry. These feed mills are delivered as modules and ready for use, making commissioning fast and easy – even at existing plants without disrupting ongoing production. Module feed mills are tailored according to individual needs and are available with the exact equipment required by the customer, including those supplied by competitors.

Mills for producing mashed compound feeds

Our modular feed mills pay for themselves very quickly on large farms. There is no need to construct a separate building for the mill, only electrical connections and a light foundation. Modular feed mills are also easy to move to another location later. Our modular FaMix feed mills are a real plug-and-play delivery: all costs and schedules are accurately provided in advance. They are also tested at the factory, making them easy to commission.

A typical FaMix mill for the production of mashed compound feed includes the dosing of the raw material, milling, the addition of small feed components by micro-dosing, the possible addition of liquid and mixing. A FaMix mill typically produces 2.5 to 10 tonnes of mashed feed per hour, while Module feed mills can produce up to 40 tonnes per hour.

Mashed feed is suitable for feeding livestock such as cattle, pigs, poultry and goats.

Pelletizing plants

A Pelletizing plant can be built as an extension to a FaMix or Module feed mill or an existing feed mill. Our Pelletizing plants are supplied as complete, ready-to-operate plants that typically include steam, water and liquid dosing, a pellet press, a pellet conditioner, a condenser, a screener and a crumbler.

Pelleted feed is heat-treated and dust-free, making it more hygienic than mashed feed. Pelleted feed is also easier to transport and store. Pellet feed is also not sorted, so animals do not have to choose the feed they eat. This makes the feeding process calmer and increases animal production.

Pelletizing plants are ideal for producing feed for pigs, cattle, poultry, horses, reindeer, cattle, sheep, various birds and other livestock.
